Before Your Appointment

  • For facials and body treatments, arrive with clean skin free of makeup if possible (though we're happy to remove it for you). For waxing appointments, make sure your hair is at least 1/4 inch long for best results — about 2-3 weeks of growth. Avoid exfoliating or using retinol 2-3 days before any treatment, and skip the self-tanner before waxing services.

  • Skip retinol, exfoliating acids, or intense exfoliation for 2-3 days before facials and body treatments. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds before waxing. If you're using prescription skincare (like tretinoin), let us know in advance so we can adjust your treatment.

  • Nope! Please don't shave before waxing — we need at least 1/4 inch of hair growth for the wax to grip properly. If you've been shaving regularly, wait about 2-3 weeks before your first wax.

  • Absolutely. During your consultation, we'll discuss your skin concerns, sensitivities, and any conditions like rosacea, eczema, or acne. Every treatment is customized to work with your skin, not against it.

  • Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early for your first visit so we can get you checked in and comfortable. For returning clients, right on time works perfectly.

  • Yes! Your cycle won't affect your treatment, but you may be slightly more sensitive during this time. Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable, and let us know if you'd like us to adjust pressure or technique.

After Your Appointment

  • Facials: You'll see an immediate glow, with results building over the next few days as your skin continues to renew. For best results, we recommend monthly facials.

Waxing: Smoothness typically lasts 3-4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.

Body treatments: Results vary by service, but most clients enjoy benefits for 1-2 weeks or longer with consistent treatments.

  • For the first 24 hours, skip heavy workouts, hot tubs, saunas, and direct sun exposure. After facials or peels, avoid active ingredients like retinol or exfoliating acids for 2-3 days.

After waxing, avoid tight clothing, friction, and self-tanner for 24 hours.

We'll give you personalized aftercare instructions based on your specific treatment.

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • We recommend letting your skin breathe for the rest of the day if possible, but if you need to apply makeup, wait at least 4-6 hours and stick to clean, mineral-based products.

  • Yes! Mild redness is totally normal, especially after facials, peels, or waxing. It typically subsides within a few hours. If you have sensitive skin, it may last a bit longer — we'll let you know what to expect.

  • For facials: Every 4-6 weeks to maintain results and support your skin's natural renewal cycle. For waxing: Every 3-4 weeks to stay smooth and keep hair growth in sync. For body treatments: Depending on your goals, every 2-4 weeks is ideal.

  • If you had a peel or exfoliating treatment, yes! Light flaking or peeling for 3-5 days is expected as your skin sheds and regenerates. Resist the urge to pick or scrub — just keep your skin hydrated and let it do its thing.

  • We'll give you personalized recommendations based on your skin and treatment. In general, keep it simple: gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, moisturizer, and SPF during the day. We're always happy to talk through your routine and suggest products that actually work for you.

  • Reach out to us right away. While some redness and sensitivity is normal, we're here to help if anything feels off. Your skin's health and your comfort are our top priorities.
